Tangled - Paint like Rapunzel..!!

Gianna’s all time favorite movie is “Tangled”. The story revolves around a girl named “Rapunzel” who has loooooong hair, who likes to paint, sing and dance. Gianna likes Rapunzel so much that she tries to imitate her. Gianna wants to have long hair, she keeps combing her hair like Rapunzel does in the movie, read books and she likes to paint most of the time.

Gianna has seen the movie so many times that by now she knows all the songs by heart, and even some of the dialogues.  Gianna is scared of “Mother Gothel” (villain in the movie) and she tells me that “mumma, you never try to become like Mother Gothel”.

Some of the painting/coloring that Gianna did in the last couple of months:

My girls wear blue & polka dots :-)

Girls prefer pink! This may be true but during this summer (2013), both Gianna & Rhea have so many dresses, tops, towel, hair clips and even a blanket that are all in different shades of blue. Another thing to add to their beauty is that they all have polka dots.

Wow! They all look so beautiful and ‘girly’ too!  So, here is a glimpse of what all we enjoy seeing our little girls wear these days.

Rhea's Tummy Time

Happy Valentine day (2013)

Valentine Goodies

With loads of goodies, valentines and a breakfast treat in the school, Gianna had a memorable Valentine day celebration in her school. Everyone was supposed to dress up in pink/red pajamas.  The kids were looking absolutely adorable!

Being a mother second time

The feeling is blissful! Seeing little Rhea in my arms takes me four years back, when Gianna would rock in my arms and I would soothe her to sleep by singing a lullaby.

This time I feel more confident in handling Rhea because changing diapers, pacifying her, bathing her, feeding her are not-so-new tasks for me anymore. However, I get tired by the end of the day because I am catering to the needs of a preschooler and a newborn at the same time. It requires a lot of energy, infinite patience, and much more attention. Sleepless night makes me feel dizzy the following day, but I try to maintain my calm and try to live each day to the fullest as I know that this time will never come back.

Happy 4th Birthday, my girl!

Gianna celebrated her 4th birthday at home with her dear friend Tanisha. They both celebrated it by cutting the cake and having pizza. Gianna also distributed some cupcakes in school among her classmates. This birthday remains a special one as Gianna had her baby sister Rhea along with her.
